I bought some plastic golf balls with the holes in them so I could practice my swing in the backyard and actually have something to hit. Will this actually improve my swing, or will it make it worse because plastic balls aren’t like real golf balls? Thanks for the help guys.
I was just wondering what products that places that make a living out of selling used golf balls use to clean them. I’ve tried putting mine the the washer/dishwasher and have even used hydrochloric acid to clean them and yes they do look nice, but none of them ever look brand new like the ones you can order from the stores. Anyone have any clue what they do?
I just started golfing this year. I have pretty much learned most on my own by watching videos and practicing. I took a golf class in college with the hopes of learning about the game, but when I got to the class there wasn’t even an instructor. The class consisted of just going to a gym and hitting balls into a net for 30 minutes.
One of the astronauts on an Apollo mission hit some golf balls on the moon, what happened I heard different stories some say they didnt go very far and others said they did. If a golfer can drive a ball 200 yards on Earth how far would you expect the same golfer to drive a ball on the moon? How far on Mars?
I am a member of a golf course and regularly find golf balls, some in good condition. I have quite a lot and would like to make some money by selling them. I have considered selling them to the club shop, on ebay or in a local sports shop. The p+p seems to be too expensive on ebay and i want to know which you think is the best option.
I don’t play very often, so its hard to determine how far I will hit the ball during a round of golf and the distance I hit balls on at the driving range doesn’t seem to be the same as on the course. How can I compare the two?
Since winter is here, I’m going to be practicing my chipping in the basement. I want to get a foam or plastic or whatever kind of ball that simulates a real golf ball the best. Any ideas?
I was wondering if it is legal to look for stray golf balls in the woods of my local golf course after golfing hours (8-9 o’clock) and if it is legal if I would have to talk to the Pro or what? Do most golf courses have people they hire to do these sorts of things? Also any tips?
Can anyone give me a list of the top 10 to 15 golf balls that are on the market right now and why? Please include brand, general price range! Thank you!
Please help me set up the equations!!!! I have a lot of trouble with “let” statements and things like that A store sells the Red Dot golf balls for 60 cents each, the Black Dot balls for 94 cents each and the Gold Dot ball for $1.10 each. A golf pro bought two dozen more Red Dot than Gold DOt balls and three times as many Black Dot as Red Dot balls. If the golf balls and one dollar’s worth [...]
